Earlier today I got wind that a few of my pals have been nominated for the Irish 2008 Movie Star Web Awards being held on 11th October at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Dublin. As usual the list is endless; but then there are quite a few categories so that's to be expected.Congratulations to Deborah Hadley of Spicendipity who has made it into the top five Best eCommerce/Services Website Award sponsored by Cybercom. Fingers crossed Deborah!
Deborah is doubly lucky this year, having been nominated and short listed for the Most Beautiful Website in Ireland Award - Sponsored by Beaut.ie. So I guess it's both hands out of action until the award ceremony and the announcement of the lucky winners...
Also short listed is award winning Darina Loakman; over at Mumcentric who is in the top five for the Best Podcaster Award sponsored by Irish Mortgage Brokers. Once again, this is great news and the short-listing is well deserved; so congratulations and the best of luck for October 11th.
It's great news to see so many women in business doing so well and being recognized publicly for their efforts; keep up the good work and carry on being an inspiration for the rest of us WAHM's out here in blogland...
